Terms and Conditions

Effective Date: June 21, 2025

Welcome to LOLwithChrist.com (“LOLwithChrist”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). The following Terms and Conditions (this “Agreement”) govern your access to and use of our online platform, which includes Christian mentorship, virtual Biblical counseling services, and the sale of Christian products such as reflective and affirmation cards and wristbands (collectively, the “Platform”).

This Platform is owned and operated by LOLwithChrist, based in the United States. By accessing or using the Platform, you are entering into a legally binding agreement with LOLwithChrist. Please read these Terms carefully before using our Platform. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not access or use the Platform.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: THESE TERMS CONTAIN A BINDING ARBITRATION CLAUSE AND A CLASS ACTION WAIVER. PLEASE READ THESE SECTIONS CAREFULLY.

1. Scope of Services

LOLwithChrist provides virtual Biblical counseling, mentorship programs, and access to Christian-themed products via our website. Our services are grounded in Scripture and offered by individuals trained in Biblical guidance, not licensed mental health professionals. We are not a healthcare provider and do not offer clinical diagnosis, treatment, or therapy. The services provided on our Platform are not intended to replace professional clinical or medical advice.

Key Points:

·       Our counselors are trained in faith-based mentorship and are not licensed clinicians.

·       We do not provide crisis services. If you are in danger or in a medical or mental health emergency, call your local emergency number immediately.

·       Our counseling is not a substitute for therapy or professional psychological services.

If you are unsure whether our services are right for you, please consult a qualified healthcare provider.

2. Use of the Platform

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction to use the Platform. By using our services, you represent and warrant that:

·       You meet the minimum age requirement;

·       You have the legal capacity to enter into this Agreement;

·       You will provide accurate and truthful information;

·       You will use the Platform only for lawful, personal, and non-commercial purposes unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

Account Registration

To access certain features of the Platform, such as scheduling mentorship sessions or purchasing products, you may be required to create an account. You are responsible for:

·       Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials;

·       All activities that occur under your account;

·       Promptly notifying us of any unauthorized access or use of your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that are misused or violate these Terms.

Service Availability

Our Platform is currently available only to users located within the United States. While we plan to extend our Biblical counseling services internationally in the future, we currently do not serve clients outside of the U.S.

Product Availability for International Customers:
While LOLwithChrist.com does not support international shipping directly, our physical products (like wristbands or reflective and affirmation cards) may be available through Amazon’s Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) service, which supports international shipping. We encourage international users to check availability via Amazon until direct service becomes available.

3. Privacy and Security

Protecting and safeguarding your personal information is a priority at LOL with Christ. Details about how we collect, use, store, and protect your information are outlined in our Privacy Policy. By using our Platform, you acknowledge and agree to the practices described in our Privacy Policy.

The Privacy Policy is incorporated by reference into these Terms and Conditions and is subject to updates. The same rules that apply to revisions of this Agreement also apply to the Privacy Policy. We encourage you to review both periodically.

Please note: We are not a HIPAA-covered entity, and our services are not clinical therapy. If you require clinical or emergency care, seek licensed professional or emergency medical services immediately.

4. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform, including text, graphics, logos, images, videos, icons, and software, is the exclusive property of LOL with Christ or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. This includes the LOL with Christ name, logos, product and service names, designs, and slogans ("LOL with Christ Marks"). You may not use these Marks without our prior written consent.

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, LOL with Christ grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Platform for your personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, modify, distribute, transmit, perform, reproduce, publish, license, create derivative works from, or sell any part of the Platform’s content or software without explicit permission.

5. Third-Party Content

The Platform may feature third-party content, links, or services not controlled by LOL with Christ ("Third-Party Content"). We are not responsible for the content, products, policies, or practices of these third-party sources. Inclusion of Third-Party Content does not imply endorsement. You access Third-Party Content at your own risk, and we disclaim all liability arising from your use of or reliance on any third-party materials.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

·       The Platform and all services provided are offered "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. This includes but is not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or accuracy.

·       We make no guarantees that the Platform will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

·       You acknowledge that use of the Platform is at your own risk. Any advice or guidance from counselors is rooted in Biblical principles and is not a substitute for licensed mental health care.

·       LOL with Christ shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising out of or related to your use of the Platform.

In no event will our total liability to you exceed the amount paid by you to us within the twelve (12) months preceding your claim.

If any part of this section is found unenforceable under applicable law, it will be modified only to the extent necessary to comply. This section survives termination of this Agreement.

7. Arbitration

THIS SECTION 7 OF THIS AGREEMENT SHALL BE REFERRED TO AS THE "ARBITRATION AGREEMENT."

By accepting the terms of this Arbitration Agreement, you and LOL with Christ (collectively, the “Parties”) agree that any dispute, claim, or controversy (except those specifically exempted below) arising out of or relating to:
(i) this Agreement and any prior versions of this Agreement, including but not limited to the existence, applicability, breach, termination, enforcement, interpretation, scope, waiver, or validity thereof; and
(ii) your use of the LOL with Christ Platform or counseling services (collectively, “Disputes”),

shall be resolved exclusively on an individual basis by final and binding arbitration, regardless of when the dispute arose. This Arbitration Agreement is intended to replace any right to a trial by jury or to resolve Disputes in any court or forum other than arbitration. All claims brought in arbitration are subject to the same statutes of limitation that would apply in court. By agreeing to this Arbitration Agreement, both Parties mutually waive their rights to a trial by jury.

The Parties acknowledge that this Agreement involves interstate commerce and agree that all issues relating to arbitration or the enforceability of this Arbitration Agreement will be governed by the Federal Arbitration Act (9 U.S.C. §§ 1 et seq.). The arbitration shall be administered by the American Arbitration Association (“AAA”) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules (“AAA Consumer Rules”), which are publicly available at www.adr.org. Should there be any conflict between the AAA Consumer Rules and this Arbitration Agreement, this Arbitration Agreement shall govern.

Arbitrator Selection and Authority:

·       Arbitration will be conducted by a single arbitrator selected pursuant to the AAA Consumer Rules.

·       The arbitrator shall be a member of the bar of the state where arbitration is held or a retired judge from any jurisdiction, possessing appropriate experience in the law underlying the dispute.

·       Except for issues related to the Class Action Waiver (defined below), the arbitrator has exclusive authority to decide all disputes relating to the interpretation, applicability, enforceability, or formation of this Arbitration Agreement or any portion thereof, including claims that this Arbitration Agreement or the Agreement is void or voidable.

Location and Costs:

·       If the Parties cannot mutually agree on a location, arbitration shall take place in Los Angeles, California.

·       Each Party shall bear its own attorney fees, except as may be required by applicable law or awarded by the arbitrator.

Discovery and Procedures:

·       The arbitrator may issue orders, including subpoenas to third parties, to permit discovery sufficient for each Party to prepare its claims or defenses. Discovery will be limited consistent with the purpose of arbitration as a speedy and efficient dispute resolution process.

·       Either Party may file motions to dismiss or for summary judgment, which the arbitrator will evaluate under standards similar to those in federal court.

Arbitrator’s Decision:

·       The arbitrator’s decision or award will be in writing and include findings of fact and conclusions of law.

·       Judgment upon the award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction.

·       Either Party may seek temporary or preliminary injunctive relief from a court before or during arbitration if allowed by law; such applications do not waive arbitration rights.

Mass Arbitration:
To promote efficiency, if 25 or more arbitration demands of a similar nature are filed involving the same law firm or organization, the Parties agree to batch these into randomized groups of up to 100 claims per batch ("Mass Arbitration").

·       Each batch will be treated as a single arbitration case with one arbitrator, one set of administrative documents, and one set of filing fees.

·       The Parties will cooperate in good faith to implement this batching procedure.

·       Disputes over applicability of this batching will be resolved by a single arbitrator in a consolidated proceeding.

·       Mass Arbitrations will be held in Los Angeles, California.

Class Action Waiver:
You and LOL with Christ mutually waive any right to participate in class, collective, or other representative actions, either in arbitration or court, to the fullest extent permitted by law. The arbitrator is not empowered to hear such claims. Any challenge to this waiver’s enforceability may only be decided by a court. If a court finds the waiver unenforceable, only then may such class or representative claims proceed in court, while the rest of the Arbitration Agreement remains binding.

Exceptions to Arbitration:
This Arbitration Agreement does not apply to:

·       Individual claims brought in small claims court that remain there and are pursued individually;

·       Individual claims of sexual assault or sexual harassment connected with your use of the Platform;

·       Requests for injunctive or equitable relief in court to prevent actual or threatened intellectual property violations;

·       Claims exempted from arbitration by controlling federal or state law, including under statutes such as the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act or the Ending Forced Arbitration of Sexual Assault and Sexual Harassment Act.

Pre-Arbitration Negotiation:
Before initiating arbitration, you and LOL with Christ may attempt informal resolution of Disputes for 30 days following receipt of a written Notice of Dispute. The Notice must include your contact details, a description of the dispute, and the relief sought. Notices should be sent to:

All communications during negotiation are confidential and cannot be used as evidence in arbitration or court.

Application to Third Parties:
This Arbitration Agreement also binds and applies to claims by or against your heirs, spouses, third-party beneficiaries, or assigns, arising from your use of the Platform or counseling services.

Right to Opt-Out:
You may opt out of this Arbitration Agreement and the Class Action Waiver by sending written notice via email to info@lolwithchrist.com with the subject line “Arbitration Opt-Out” within 30 days of your first use of the Platform. Your notice must include your name and address. Opting out means neither you nor LOL with Christ will be required to arbitrate disputes, and such disputes may be litigated in court.

Survival:
This Arbitration Agreement shall survive termination or expiration of your relationship with LOL with Christ.


8. Your Subscription

LOL with Christ offers four distinct subscription options designed to provide consistent Christian pastoral counseling support, including ongoing chat access to your counselor. You may choose from the following subscription models based on your preferences:

  • Weekly sessions, 30 minutes each
  • Weekly sessions, 60 minutes each
  • Bi-weekly sessions, 30 minutes each
  • Bi-weekly sessions, 60 minutes each

Each subscription includes a total of four counseling sessions per month according to the session length and frequency selected, plus continuous chat access with your counselor throughout the subscription period.

Billing and Renewal:
Subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis according to your selected plan and automatically renew until you cancel. By enrolling in a subscription, you acknowledge and accept responsibility for all recurring charges until cancellation. Your billing cycle will begin on the date of your first scheduled counseling session, ensuring you receive the full benefit of each billing period. For example, if you subscribe on June 1st but your first session is on June 3rd, your billing period will run from June 3rd forward.

Scheduling Future Sessions:
At the time of your first session, a recurring day and time will be set for all subsequent sessions within your subscription. You will receive email and text reminders prior to each appointment. Additionally, before each upcoming session, you will receive an email allowing you to confirm or update your appointment time and day if needed. Any rescheduling requests must remain within the same billing week or subscription window in which the session is due, to maintain consistency and counselor availability.

Appointment Rescheduling and Missed Sessions:
We understand that life happens. You can reschedule any session by providing at least 24 hours’ advance notice. Sessions must be rescheduled within 48 hours of the missed appointment; otherwise, the session will be forfeited and cannot be carried over to future billing cycles.

Counselor Selection and Matching:
Counselor matching is available only upon your request. Our platform offers full transparency by allowing you to watch introductory videos of counselors, review their profiles, and reach out with any questions before making your choice. You have full control to select the counselor best suited to your spiritual and counseling needs.

Subscription Cancellation and Changes:
You may cancel your subscription at any time, for any reason, with no questions asked. Cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period, and no further charges will be incurred. Additionally, you can easily switch between subscription plans or session lengths at any time, with changes applying starting in your next billing cycle, ensuring a seamless and flexible experience.

Pricing and Modifications:
LOL with Christ reserves the right to modify subscription options, session formats, or pricing to accommodate operational needs, inflation, or market changes. We commit to providing timely notice of any such changes. Should you find any changes unsatisfactory, you retain the right to cancel your subscription without penalty.

Free Trial Offers:
Occasionally, we may provide free trial periods for new clients to experience our counseling services. Upon expiration of the free trial, the paid subscription will commence after prior notification.

9. Insurance Offering (U.S. Only)

LOL with Christ specializes in Biblical pastoral counseling and does not accept insurance for counseling services. Our services differ from traditional clinical therapy and are not provided through a licensed healthcare clinic, so they do not qualify for insurance reimbursement.

Although we do not bill insurance directly, you may be able to submit receipts to your insurance provider for potential out-of-network reimbursement. This depends entirely on your insurance company’s policies and requirements. We encourage you to contact your insurance provider directly to inquire about this possibility.

If you require clinical therapy services covered by insurance, we recommend finding a licensed therapist or counselor who accepts insurance.

10. Consent to Receive Electronic Communications


By using LOL with Christ’s platform, you consent to receive electronic communications from us and our counselors regarding your counseling services or any inquiries you make. These communications may include appointment reminders, scheduling information, service updates, billing notifications, and updates to our Terms and Conditions or Privacy Policy.

You represent that the email address and phone number you provide are accurate and current. Communications may be sent via email, SMS, or other electronic methods.

You may opt out of certain electronic communications by contacting us at info@lolwithchrist.com or by following unsubscribe instructions included in our messages. However, some communications—such as important service updates or billing notices—are necessary and cannot be opted out of without discontinuing services.

Withdrawing consent to receive electronic communications will not affect the validity or enforceability of your agreement with LOL with Christ.

11. Digital Counseling Consent


LOL with Christ provides pastoral counseling services through digital communication methods such as messaging, chat, phone calls, and video calls on our platform. Please note that we do not provide telehealth or clinical therapy services.

Our counseling services are designed to offer Biblical guidance and support but are not a substitute for in-person clinical therapy, medical treatment, or emergency services.

By using our platform, you consent to receiving counseling through these digital channels and acknowledge the limitations inherent in remote digital counseling. If at any time you require emergency assistance or clinical care, please contact appropriate emergency services or healthcare professionals immediately.

 

12. Your Account, Representations, Conduct, and Commitments

By using LOL with Christ’s platform, you confirm that you are legally able to consent to receive pastoral counseling services, or if applicable, that you have obtained the consent of a parent or legal guardian to do so, and that you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.

Minor Consent: If counseling services are sought for a minor, the consenting parent or guardian affirms that they have the sole authority to consent to services without needing approval from any other legal guardian. You also provide affirmative consent to our Privacy Policy regarding the collection, use, and processing of the minor’s personal information. This consent remains valid until membership is canceled.

You agree that all information you provide to LOL with Christ, both currently and in the future, is accurate, truthful, complete, and up to date. You commit to promptly updating your information as necessary to maintain its accuracy.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your account credentials, including your password and any other account access information. We recommend regularly changing your password and safeguarding it carefully.

You agree to notify us immediately if you become aware of any unauthorized use or breach of your account. You acknowledge and accept full responsibility for all activity occurring under your account, whether authorized by you or not. You agree to indemnify LOL with Christ for any losses or damages arising from unauthorized use of your account.

You shall not use or attempt to use any other person’s account or credentials for any reason.

Your use of LOL with Christ’s platform and services is strictly personal. You will not use the platform or counseling services on behalf of any other person or organization.

You agree not to interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to disrupt the platform’s systems, servers, networks, or infrastructure. You will not attempt unauthorized access or engage in any activity that may damage, disable, or impair the platform or its services.

You commit to refraining from posting, sending, or transmitting any content that is unsolicited advertising, malicious software, unlawful, harassing, invasive of privacy, abusive, threatening, vulgar, racist, or otherwise harmful. Additionally, you will not post content that infringes on intellectual property rights or could cause damage or encourage criminal activity.

You will comply with all applicable laws, statutes, regulations, and ethical codes in connection with your use of the platform and counseling services.

If you receive any files from us or counselors through the platform, you agree to scan them for viruses or malicious code before opening or using them.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless LOL with Christ, its affiliates, and representatives from any claims, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses (including attorneys’ fees) arising from your use of the platform or violation of these terms, including but not limited to unauthorized use of your account or violation of third-party rights. This indemnity obligation survives termination of your account or these Terms.

You confirm that all payment methods you provide are authorized for use by you and are accurate, current, and valid. You agree to pay all fees and charges on time in accordance with the fee schedule posted on the platform. By providing payment information, you authorize LOL with Christ to charge your account accordingly and agree to keep payment information up to date.

13. Modifications, Termination, Interruptions, and Disruptions to the Platform

You acknowledge and agree that LOL with Christ may modify, suspend, interrupt, or discontinue the platform or any part of its services, either generally or with respect to your account, at any time, with or without prior notice. You accept that LOL with Christ will not be liable for any losses or damages resulting from such modifications, suspensions, or discontinuations.

The platform relies on a variety of software, hardware, and third-party tools, whether owned or operated by LOL with Christ or by contractors and suppliers. While we make commercially reasonable efforts to maintain reliability and accessibility, you acknowledge that no digital platform can guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access at all times. You accept that access to the platform may occasionally be delayed, disrupted, or unavailable for technical or operational reasons beyond our control.

14. Service Availability and Compliance

LOL with Christ provides digital Christian pastoral counseling services primarily to clients located within the United States. While our platform is accessible online, our services are designed and offered in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations governing counseling and pastoral care in the jurisdictions we serve.

You agree not to use or access our platform in any manner that violates any local, state, national, or international laws or regulations. It is your responsibility to ensure that your use of our services complies with any legal restrictions applicable to your location.

15. Notices

We may provide notices or other communications to you regarding this Agreement or any aspect of the Platform by email to the email address we have on record, by regular mail, or by posting such notices online. The date of receipt shall be deemed the date on which such notice is given.

Notices sent to us must be delivered by email to info@lolwithchrist.com.

16. Contact and Complaints

If you have any questions, concerns, or complaints about the Platform or our services, please direct all communications to info@lolwithchrist.com. We are committed to addressing your concerns in a timely and respectful manner.

17. Governing Law, Venue, and Miscellaneous

This Agreement and our relationship with you shall be governed solely by the laws of the State of California, excluding any rules governing choice of laws.

This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between you and LOL with Christ. You confirm that you have not relied upon any promises or representations by us except as set forth in this Agreement.

You irrevocably agree that the exclusive venue for any action or proceeding arising out of or relating to this Agreement or our relationship with you, regardless of theory, shall be the courts located in Los Angeles County, California. You irrevocably consent to the personal jurisdiction of these courts and waive any objections to jurisdiction or venue.

Nothing in this Agreement affects your statutory rights as a consumer to rely on mandatory consumer protection laws applicable in your jurisdiction.

We may update this Agreement by posting modifications on the Platform. Unless otherwise specified, all modifications are effective upon posting. You are encouraged to review this Agreement regularly. Your continued use of the Platform after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of such changes. If you do not agree with any updates, you must discontinue use of the Platform.

We may assign or transfer this Agreement or any of its obligations without your consent.

Paragraph headings are for convenience only and do not affect interpretation.

If any provision of this Agreement is found to be unenforceable or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

Clauses regarding arbitration, limitation of liability, and indemnification shall survive termination or expiration of this Agreement.

18. Payment, Refunds, and Cancellation Terms

At LOL with Christ, we strive to make your experience as smooth, transparent, and secure as possible. Whether you are purchasing faith-inspired products or subscribing to our Christian pastoral counseling services, the following payment and refund policies apply:

Payment Security

Your privacy is our priority. All transactions are securely encrypted via SSL (Secure Socket Layer) technology. LOL with Christ does not store your credit card or payment information on our servers.

 

Payment Confirmation

After a successful transaction, you will receive an email confirmation with your order details. If you do not receive this confirmation or experience any issues, please contact us at info@lolwithchrist.com.

 

Currency

All prices are listed in U.S. Dollars (USD). If you're making a purchase from outside the United States, your financial institution may apply currency conversion or international transaction fees.

Refund and Cancellation Policy

A. For Product Purchases (Direct Sales)

If you're not completely satisfied with your product, we offer a 14-day return window from the date of delivery.

To initiate a return:
→ Click on the “Return Request” button at the top of our Shipping and Returns page.
→ Enter your order number and the email address used during checkout.
→ Follow the prompts to submit your return request.

Returned items must be in original condition, and with any original packaging or tags intact. Once your return is approved, you'll receive further instructions by email. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to our customer support team.

All domestic product orders include free shipping, with a typical delivery window of 3–5 business days. Tracking information will be provided once your order has shipped.

B. For Christian Pastoral Counseling Subscriptions

Our counseling services operate on a weekly or bi-weekly subscription model, offering flexible options for 30-minute or 60-minute sessions.

  • You can cancel your subscription at any time, for any reason, no questions asked.
  • Simply email us at info@lolwithchrist.com, and we will process the cancellation promptly.
  • Cancellations become effective immediately, and your access to services will end at the conclusion of your current billing cycle.

19. Faith-Based Mission, Scriptural Foundation, and Integrity

At LOL with Christ, our mission is to glorify Jesus Christ in everything we offer, from our counseling services to our products and written content. Every aspect of our platform is rooted in the authority, truth, and transformative power of God’s Word. We are not a clinical or licensed mental health provider. Rather, we offer spiritual encouragement and pastoral guidance through biblically sound counsel, combined with faith-inspired resources designed to edify the body of Christ.

We operate with unwavering commitment to biblical truth, moral accountability, and integrity. Our platform is created for individuals who seek faith-based support, scriptural insight, and encouragement through the lens of the gospel.

Our Services

All services offered on our platform are:
