1. Scope of Services – Christ-Centered, Not Clinical
LOL with Christ® provides:
- Scripture-based counseling and spiritual direction
- Christian counseling for everyone seeking faith-based growth
- AACC-aligned biblical counseling principles and pastoral ministry experience (where applicable)
- Virtual 45-minute sessions (weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly)
Our Christian counseling online services are designed for believers seeking structured, Scripture-based support through a subscription model.
Not Therapy
Our services are pastoral and biblical in nature and are intended for spiritual guidance and personal development. They are not a substitute for licensed medical, psychological, or psychiatric care. We are not a licensed healthcare provider and do not provide:
- Clinical diagnosis
- Medical or psychiatric treatment
- Psychotherapy
- Crisis intervention
If you require licensed therapy, psychiatric care, or emergency services, contact a qualified provider immediately.
We do not guarantee specific outcomes or results from participation in our services.
2. Eligibility
You must be 18 years of age or older (or have legal guardian consent for a minor).
By using the Platform, you agree that:
- Your information is accurate and current
- You will use the Services lawfully
- You understand that this is biblical counseling, not clinical therapy
LOL with Christ® operates as a platform that connects users with independent counselors and provides access to faith-based counseling services. We do not provide licensed clinical healthcare services.
3. Registration, Scheduling & Communication
No account creation is required.
When enrolling:
- You provide your name, email address, and payment details.
- Appointment confirmations are sent via email.
- If opted in, reminders may also be sent via SMS text message.
- You will receive a secure virtual session link (e.g., Zoom) prior to each appointment.
You are responsible for maintaining accurate contact information and safeguarding access to your email and devices.
We reserve the right to cancel or refuse service if inaccurate information is provided or these Terms are violated.
LOL with Christ® is not affiliated with or endorsed by any third-party communication platforms used to deliver services.
Payments are processed securely through third-party payment providers, and LOL with Christ® does not store full payment card information on its servers.
4. Subscription Terms (Christian Counseling Subscription)
Available Plans
- Weekly (45 minutes)
- Bi-Weekly (45 minutes)
- Monthly (45 minutes)
Each plan includes one 45-minute session per scheduled period (weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly), depending on the selected subscription.
All sessions are conducted virtually and may be scheduled any day of the week based on counselor availability. Session availability is subject to counselor scheduling and may vary.
Services are available to clients located within the United States.
Subscription Summary
- Billing begins at checkout when your first session is scheduled
- Subscriptions renew automatically based on your selected plan
- Charges are not dependent on session attendance or usage
- Sessions are scheduled automatically based on your initial selection
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle
- No prorated refunds are issued for partial billing periods
Billing & Renewal
Subscriptions are billed automatically and renew until canceled in accordance with the selected billing interval.
Billing begins at checkout when your first session is scheduled.
All pricing is listed in USD. We accept major credit and debit cards, including Visa, Mastercard, and American Express, as well as supported digital payment methods where available.
Payments are processed through encrypted, PCI-compliant third-party providers. LOL with Christ® does not store or have access to your full payment details.
Rescheduling & Session Policy
- 24-hour notice is required to reschedule.
- Sessions must be used within the active billing cycle.
- Unused sessions do not roll over unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Cancellation
You may cancel anytime by emailing info@lolwithchrist.com.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle. No further charges will occur after cancellation becomes effective. No refunds or credits are provided for partial billing periods.
5. Products (Secondary Offering)
Physical products may be purchased separately from counseling subscriptions.
Returns for physical products are accepted within 30 days of delivery, in accordance with our Returns, Refunds & Cancellation Policy.
Counseling services are available within the United States only. Physical products may be available internationally via third-party marketplaces where offered.
6. Digital Counseling Consent
Sessions are conducted through digital communication platforms.
By using our Services, you acknowledge and agree that:
- Technology interruptions may occur.
- We take reasonable measures to protect your information and maintain secure communications; however, no digital platform can guarantee absolute security.
- Services are provided as spiritual guidance and not medical or psychological treatment
7. Privacy & Communications
Your information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference.
We are committed to protecting the privacy of individuals using our Christian counseling online platform.
You consent to receive essential service communications, including scheduling reminders, billing notices, and policy updates. Promotional communications may be opted out of; essential communications related to your active subscription may not.
8. Intellectual Property
All materials on the Platform, including content, branding, design elements, and software, are owned by LOL with Christ® and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or exploit Platform materials without written permission.
9. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability
Services are provided “as is” and “as available.”
We make no guarantees regarding specific spiritual, emotional, or personal outcomes from participation in our Christian counseling online services.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to your use of the Services shall not exceed the total amount you paid to LOL with Christ® in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
10. Binding Arbitration & Class Action Waiver
Any dispute arising out of or relating to your use of the Platform or Services shall be resolved through binding individual arbitration, except where prohibited by law.
You waive the right to participate in a class action, collective action, or representative proceeding.
Opt-Out
You may opt out of arbitration within 30 days of your first use of the Platform by emailing info@lolwithchrist.com with the subject line “Arbitration Opt-Out” and including your name and address.
11. User Conduct & Indemnification
You agree not to misuse the Platform, violate applicable laws, or interfere with the operation of the Services.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless LOL with Christ® from claims arising from your misuse of the Platform or violation of these Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
Venue for permitted court proceedings shall be Los Angeles County, California, unless otherwise required by law.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is LOL with Christ® therapy?
No. LOL with Christ® provides biblical counseling and Christ-centered mentorship, not licensed clinical therapy. We do not diagnose or treat mental health conditions.
Is biblical counseling the same as clinical counseling?
No. Biblical counseling is faith-based spiritual guidance rooted in Scripture. Clinical counseling involves licensed mental health diagnosis and treatment.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. You may cancel at any time. Your subscription will remain active through the end of your current billing cycle.
Do sessions roll over?
Sessions must be used within your active billing cycle and generally do not roll over unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Do you accept insurance?
No. Our services are pastoral in nature and are not billed as medical or clinical treatment. We do not accept insurance directly. However, some clients may choose to contact their insurance provider to inquire whether out-of-network reimbursement may be available. Coverage, if any, is determined solely by your insurance provider.
What if I am in crisis?
LOL with Christ® does not provide emergency services. If you are experiencing suicidal thoughts, immediate danger, or a medical emergency, call 911 or your local emergency number immediately.
