How does counseling work at LOL with Christ®?
Counseling takes place through private virtual sessions focused on applying Scripture to real-life situations with clarity, guidance, and consistency.
Is the first session really free?
Yes. Your first session is a free 30-minute clarity session so you can experience the approach before deciding to continue.
What can I expect in my first session?
Your first session is a confidential conversation where your counselor listens, understands your situation, and begins offering Scripture-based guidance.
Do I have to be a Christian?
No. You are welcome regardless of where you are in your faith journey.
How do I choose a counselor?
You can select a counselor directly or complete a short intake form to receive guidance based on your needs and availability.
Do I need the Christian product to start counseling?
No. You can start counseling without the products. Our products are Scripture-based tools that help you renew your thinking and apply biblical truth between sessions.
What are the products and how do they work?
Our products are Scripture-based tools with verse references, created by a Christian designer certified in biblical counseling (aligned with AACC standards). They support daily reflection and growth. Orders ship free within the U.S. and include a 30-day return window.
How long does shipping take?
Orders are processed promptly and ship within the U.S. with standard delivery times. You’ll receive tracking details once your order ships.
Do you ship internationally?
Currently, we ship within the U.S. only.
Sessions & Technical Details
How do I join my session?
You’ll receive a private, secure Zoom link by email (and by text if you opt in). Simply click the link at your scheduled time to join.
Do I need special software?
No. Sessions work on desktop or mobile with a stable internet connection.
What happens if my internet disconnects?
You can rejoin using the same link. If needed, your counselor will help you reconnect.
Are sessions recorded?
No. Sessions are private and not recorded.
What timezone are sessions scheduled in?
The booking calendar automatically shows available times in your local timezone, so you can choose a session time without needing to convert anything.
Can I switch counselors?
Yes. You can switch counselors at any time by emailing info@lolwithchrist.com, and we’ll take care of it within 24 hours so you can find the right fit for you.
Can I share my session link with someone else?
No. Your session link is private and intended only for you to protect your confidentiality and session experience.
Trust & Safety
Are your counselors qualified?
Counselors are carefully vetted based on biblical alignment, pastoral training, real-life experience, and demonstrated character and integrity.
Is my information confidential?
Yes. Sessions are private, with limited exceptions for safety concerns or legal requirements.
How do you ensure biblical integrity?
All counseling and resources are reviewed to ensure alignment with Scripture and the teachings of Jesus Christ.
Is this therapy or medical care?
No. LOL with Christ® provides biblical pastoral counseling and does not offer licensed clinical or medical services.
Do you diagnose or treat mental health conditions?
No. We do not diagnose or treat medical or psychiatric conditions. If clinical care is needed, we recommend seeking a licensed professional.
What if I need emergency or crisis support?
LOL with Christ® does not provide emergency services. If you are in immediate danger, please call 911 or your local emergency number.
Sessions & Scheduling
How long are sessions?
Standard sessions are 45 minutes long.
How often will I meet with my counselor?
You can choose weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly sessions based on your plan.
Are sessions ongoing or one-time?
Sessions are offered through a subscription model to support consistent progress over time.
Pricing & Subscriptions
What happens after the free session?
After your clarity session, you can choose whether to continue. There is no obligation to move forward.
Can I change or cancel my subscription?
Yes. You can switch or cancel your plan at any time by emailing info@lolwithchrist.com, and we’ll process your request within 24 hours. Any changes take effect before your next billing cycle.
Do you accept insurance?
No. Insurance is not accepted at this time. Our services are private-pay and centered on biblical pastoral counseling rather than medical or clinical care.
