Returns, Refunds & Cancellation Policy | Christian Counseling Online
LOL with Christ® provides subscription-based Christian counseling online and faith-based pastoral mentorship services delivered virtually across the United States, along with select physical products.
This Returns, Refunds & Cancellation Policy explains how subscription cancellations, session usage, refunds, product returns, and payment disputes are handled for our Christian counseling online platform.
This policy applies to both subscription-based counseling services and physical product purchases offered through our online store.
By purchasing or subscribing to our services, you acknowledge and agree to the terms below.
Billing Clarification
Your first 30-minute session is complimentary and is $0 at checkout. A valid payment method is required to begin your subscription, but no charge is processed for the complimentary first session.
After your complimentary first session, you are charged separately for each upcoming paid session rather than for an entire month at once. The applicable session charge is processed three days before each scheduled session using the payment method provided at checkout.
1. Subscription Cancellation (Counseling Services)
Cancel Anytime
You may cancel your subscription at any time by emailing info@lolwithchrist.com. Cancellation requests are typically processed within 24 hours during normal business operations. There are no cancellation fees or penalties.
If you cancel at least 24 hours before your next scheduled session:
• Your subscription will end when your cancellation is processed.
• All future scheduled sessions will be canceled.
• No future session charges will be processed.
• If the charge for your next scheduled session has already been processed, that charge will be refunded.
If you cancel less than 24 hours before your next scheduled session:
• That upcoming session will remain reserved for you and will count as your final scheduled session.
• The charge for that session will remain applicable and will not be refunded.
• Your subscription will end after that session.
• All later scheduled sessions will be canceled, and no additional session charges will be processed.
2. Complimentary First Session
Your first 30-minute session is complimentary and is intended to give you an opportunity to meet your counselor, experience the structure and approach of LOL with Christ®, and begin determining whether the counselor is a good fit for you.
A valid payment method is required to begin your subscription, but no charge is processed for the complimentary first session.
If you choose not to continue, you may cancel your subscription in accordance with Section 1 to prevent future session charges.
The complimentary first session is:
• Not transferable across multiple counselors
• Limited to one introductory session per subscriber
3. Rescheduling, Missed Sessions & Late Cancellations
Sessions may be rescheduled with at least 24 hours’ notice.
The new session must take place within the current subscription period. Rescheduling an individual session does not change your regular recurring schedule.
If you’re unable to attend with less than 24 hours’ notice, your session will remain reserved for you and will count as your scheduled session rather than being rescheduled or carried over.
Missed sessions are not refundable.
Sessions must be used within the active subscription period and do not roll over.
Counselor-Initiated Rescheduling
If your counselor needs to reschedule, you’ll be notified as soon as possible and can choose another available time within your current subscription period that works for you. Counselor-initiated changes are not subject to the client’s 24-hour rescheduling requirement and will not cause you to lose the affected session. Once you’ve agreed on a new time, your counselor will take care of updating the appointment. Your regular recurring schedule will remain unchanged.
4. Refund Policy (Subscription Services)
Session charges reflect reserved counselor time and scheduled availability.
If you cancel your subscription at least 24 hours before your next scheduled session and the charge for that session has already been processed, that session charge will be refunded.
If you cancel your subscription less than 24 hours before your next scheduled session, that session will remain reserved for you and the applicable charge will not be refunded.
Missed sessions and sessions canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice are not refundable.
Refunds are not issued based on subjective dissatisfaction, personal outcomes, or perceived results after services have been rendered.
We may, at our sole discretion, offer a goodwill adjustment in exceptional circumstances. Such adjustments are not guaranteed and do not establish precedent.
All pricing is listed in USD. Payments are processed through encrypted, PCI-compliant third-party providers, including Shopify. LOL with Christ® does not store or have access to your full payment details.
Subscriptions automatically continue according to the selected plan unless canceled. After your complimentary first session, each upcoming paid session is charged separately three days before the scheduled session.
By completing checkout, you acknowledge and agree to this Returns, Refunds & Cancellation Policy and all related subscription and session usage terms.
5. Returns & Refunds for Physical Products
We accept returns of eligible physical products within 30 days of delivery. Items must be unused, in original condition, and in original packaging.
To qualify for return:
- Items must be unused
- Items must be in original condition and packaging
- Proof of purchase may be required
Return shipping:
- A return label may be provided
- Return shipping cost will be deducted from the refund amount
Refunds are issued to the original payment method once the returned item is received and inspected.
Certain items may not be eligible for return if marked as final sale or if they do not meet the return conditions outlined above.

6. Damaged or Defective Items
If you receive a damaged or defective item:
- Contact us within 7 days of delivery
- Provide photo documentation
We may:
- Offer a replacement
- Issue a refund if replacement is unavailable
Refund eligibility is subject to verification of damage.
7. Digital Products (If Offered)
If digital downloads or paid digital resources are offered in the future:
- Digital products are non-refundable once accessed or delivered
- Access-based products cannot be returned
Currently, digital resources included with counseling subscriptions are provided at no additional cost and are not separately refundable.
8. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes
If you believe a billing error has occurred, please contact us directly before initiating a chargeback.
Initiating a chargeback without first contacting customer support may result in:
- Suspension of services
- Permanent account restriction
We reserve the right to provide documentation to payment processors in defense of disputed transactions.

Can I cancel my counseling subscription at any time?
